Industrie- und Handelskammer Region Stuttgart

The Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Stuttgart Region (Industrie- und Handelskammer Region Stuttgart/IHK Region Stuttgart) represents the interests of its approximately 155,000 member companies with respect to politics and administration. It also informs and advises on all relevant economic matters, offers professional education, and is a platform for the exchange of experiences. In Germany, Chambers of Commerce and Industry are public corporations with compulsory membership. The CCI of the Stuttgart Region is one of 80 German Chambers of Commerce and Industry. Its head organisation is the Association of German Chambers of Commerce and Industry (Deutscher Industrie- und Handelskammertag/DIHK) in Berlin. The CCI closely cooperates with the German Chambers of Commerce Abroad (Auslandshandelskammern/AHK) as well as representatives of German commerce in more than 90 countries.
