With a core workforce of more than 500 employees, Bilfinger Life Science GmbH produces and mounts pipings, systems, and plants for the biotechnological/pharmaceutical sector, for the semiconductor and energy sector as well as for the industry. Our company divides into following business units:

Pipings and Fittings Plants and Systems Water Solutions Spare Parts and Maintenance

Our business activities cover the complete life cycle of a plant – from the concept to installing and commissioning to maintenance.

With the establishment of the business unit Water Solutions based in Stuttgart in October 2017, very professional engineers and technicians with more than 20 years of experience in plant engineering and construction serve our customers.

The firm generating plants are mounted according to cGMP guidelines and comply with current specifications of USP, EP, and JP. By a combination of reverse osmosis and electrodeionisation, the plants generate Purified Water with a quality that exceeds regulatory requirements. A final ultra filtration allows the production of Highly Purified Water and Water for Injection respectively.

For the semiconductor and solar industry, the required process technologies and materials (for example PVDF) for the production of ultra pure water are available. Furthermore, we offer the essential waste water and recycling technologies for the treatment of different process water flows and, where required, the necessary sludge treatment.
