Alber has specialized in the development, production and marketing of highly integrated electric drives, energy storage systems and electronic controls for medical assistive devices since 1986. R & D and production takes place exclusively in Albstadt. Alber employs 450 people at its Albstadt site and manufactures electric drives on 18,000 m² using state-of-the-art methods. More than 50 international patents and utility models as well as the newly developed neodrives pedelec drive system witness to the company's innovative strength.
