Fysor GmbH
gamified training systems
At the end of 2016, the physiotherapist Mark Kässer, who works at the University Hospital in Tübingen, presented the practical idea of revolutionizing pelvic floor training with electromyography-controlled exergames to the expert committee of the Foundation for Medical Innovations headed by Prof. Eberhart Zrenner. In 2017, the project was included in the incubation program of Medical Innovations Incubator GmbH and was further developed there. From 2018 to 2021, the Ministry of the Interior, Digitization and Migration of the State of Baden-Württemberg funded the project. After eventful project years and team finding, Andreas Möller, Ingo Hämmerle (CEO) and Mark Kässer transferred Kegels4U to the newly founded Fysor GmbH in the summer of 2021.
Today, Kegels4U Classic, an app with over 130 pelvic floor exercises, is available for download for Android devices. In addition, Apelvo, a system for gamified, electromyography-controlled pelvic floor training, is in an advanced stage of development. Fysor GmbH will develop and market further digital training programs for physiotherapy, speech therapy, ergotherapy and psychotherapy. In the Science2Start 2021/22 ideas competition organized by BioRegio STERN, Apelvo by Fysor was awarded 3rd place.
