Zentrum für Klinische Transfusionsmedizin Tübingen gGmbH

The Centre for Clinical Transfusion Medicine Tübingen gGmbH (ZKT) is a joint venture of the Baden-Württemberg – Hesse DRK blood donation service and the University Hospital of Tübingen.

The Centre for Clinical Transfusion Medicine supplies patients in all the clinics at Tübingen University Hospital and a number of other hospitals in the region with blood products. The vast majority of blood products required can be covered with donations obtained by the Blood Donation Centre in Tübingen. In addition, the ZKT is in charge of immunohaematological diagnostics.

The ZKT has clean rooms where work is carried out according to international GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice) standards.
